So, you've managed to get through the Christmas period and we are now starting on a new year. Let's just take a moment to realise the year we've just had. Was it good for you, was it bad, or was is somewhere in the middle?
If it was good, well done, you lucky thing you. Was it bad, not to worry, things can be improved upon. Was it somewhere in the middle. Well, you can rev it up a gear then.
It's time to feel good about yourself, your achievements, your goals, family, friends and everything else. We've made it through the most troubling times, stuck together and prevailed. Let's look to the future with joy in our hearts and our heads held high. We are worth it, we are worth it, we are worth it. Life goes on, so let's be a part of it.
Call someone you haven't spoken to for a while, send them a text, an email, something..........
Set a goal for this year, it need not be anything grand, just something small and achievable.
Take more walks, even around the block. It will make you feel better and is so good for the waistline.
Go into the garden and keep an eye on the springs bulbs gradually popping up through the soil. Do some weeding whilst you are there.
Grab a few houseplants from the supermarket and place them around the home, green really is one of the most powerful colours of nature and it is good for the sole.
Enjoy your life and all it brings. Take the knocks, change the bad and move on. Live your life to the full and embrace each day.
